The layout of the room is odd and there's a long, frosted window from the shower into the bedroom so, if someone uses the bathroom at night, the light will bother anyone else who's trying to sleep. Upon entering the room we noticed a strong smell of either new carpet, wallpaper, glue or ? Anyone who has asthma be forewarned because this smell will surely trigger an attack. This is a new, 5 story building connected to the casino. We recently were given a free room at the Ak-Chin Resort Tower. All in all the staff at the hotel were very helpful and I felt that management is at fault for the poor service. and this location was not the experience I had hoped for. However they are very large, bathroom very large & nice except for mold in the shower. The rooms are very worn and in need of paint, carpets, etc. They did comp us an extra night if we wanted to stay and $50 free slot play in the casino. Spending $99 a night I expected better service. it's managements responsibility to have enough employees to take care of their hotel.
I felt very sorry for house keeping as so short handed.
Moved us to a new room which had better service but not what I expected. Problem is they are very under staffed and our room was never serviced until I called at 6 o7 pm. Front desk staff was excellent, as was the entire staff. Stayed in the luxury room over looking pool, which was beautiful & lovely grounds.
